Most true classic car restorers are interested in rebuilding a car's original engine or finding an exact, period-correct replacement. Usually, the home restorer will "yank" the engine out of a car, disassemble it, take it to a machine shop for machining, find or order new parts, install the new parts after the machine shop is done, put the rebuilt engine back in the car and test and tune its operation. The MG T series are some of the favorites among classic pre-war sports car rebuilders.

Motoamerica
MotoAmerica is an all-new North American roadracing series created by the KRAVE Group LLC, which consists of four partners: three-time World Champion and AMA Hall of Fame Inductee Wayne Rainey, longtime Team Roberts manager Chuck Aksland, motorsports marketing executive Terry Karges, and energy sector entrepreneur and businessman Richard Varner.
"Gaining Dorna's support is a major achievement for MotoAmerica," said Rainey. "It means a lot to me to have Dorna and Carmelo's support for our new roadracing series. I got the opportunity to compete on the world stage because of AMA roadracing, and I want to help give all of our American riders that same chance."
